Description
The Until Help Arrives course provides the general public with the basic cognitive information on key actions that can be taken during a life-threatening emergency that can help sustain or save a life until EMS arrives including:
- Compression Only CPR (no breaths)
- AED Education
- Choking Education
- Bleeding (administering direct pressure and tourniquet)
- Opioid Overdose (administering naloxone).
The Until Help Arrives online course developed by the American Red Cross and American College of Emergency Physicians equips students with the basic knowledge to assist trained responders during a life-threatening emergency.
